The ongoing feud between former NFL player Matt Kalil and his ex-wife, Haley, seems destined for the courtroom. This escalation follows Kalil’s indignation over Haley’s public remarks about his anatomy, which he found deeply personal and intrusive.
Kalil, known for his tenure with the Minnesota Vikings and Carolina Panthers, tied the knot with Haley in 2015. Their marriage spanned seven years before ending, with Haley recently attributing part of their marital discord to intimacy issues.
During a podcast appearance that quickly gained traction online, Haley shocked listeners by commenting on his anatomy, comparing it to ‘two coke cans, maybe even a third.’ Her comments propelled their private matters into an unwanted public spectacle.
According to TMZ, Kalil has responded by filing a lawsuit against Haley. He claims her ‘invasive commentary’ has thwarted his efforts to maintain a low profile post-retirement. The lawsuit reportedly details how these remarks have led to unwelcome attention, affecting not only him but also causing discomfort to his family.
Kalil, whose formidable NFL stature was 6-foot-6 and 315 pounds, alleges the situation has subjected him to public ridicule. The lawsuit underscores the personal toll of these statements, which he describes as degrading and unnecessarily exposing his private life.
Kalil has since remarried, to model Keilani Asmus in the summer of 2024, and he claims she has received a barrage of disgusting messages on social media about her husband’s manhood.

The suit filed against Haley includes a series of screenshots of messages purportedly sent to Keilani, which Kalil claims have become ‘increasingly frequent, disturbing and alarming in nature over time.’
In addition, the ex-NFL star alleges that Haley has ‘been able to financially benefit from this surge in traffic’, while he is left to deal with the consequences.
Kalil, now 36, is suing for invasion of privacy and unjust enrichment, requesting a jury trial and damages, with the amount exceeding $75,000.
The Daily Mail has reached out to both Matt and Haley with a request for comment.
The media appearance in question came back in November, when Haley appeared on a Twitch livestream with internet personality Marlon, going on to reveal the ‘biggest factor’ in her split from Matt.
‘We were trying to do the damn thing and [put work into their marriage],’ Haley said before typing something on her phone that she did not wish to say out loud.

She then showed Marlon, before continuing to explain. It appears, from the context of the discussion, that she was suggesting Matt’s proportions were incompatible for her.
‘Deada**… for our whole marriage, deada**. But I was going to try it all. We tried it all: therapist, doctors. Not even lying… Looked up lipo-type s***… That’s why it’s kinda funny. It’s like my life is a comedy, and it kinda writes itself,’ she revealed.
‘That was the biggest factor… Love him, but he’s my homie… No, because he’s like .01 percent of the population. We’ve tried, impossible unless you’re going to be in tears type s***.’
Haley, who was featured as a rookie in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2019, got backlash at the time from some on social media who felt that she was oversharing and violated her ex-husband’s privacy.
‘Darn, that’s a huge breach of trust. Disrespectful,’ wrote one user on X.

Another commented: ‘U were married to that person. Some things are private. I guess influencers don’t know the difference between private and public; their private lives are for public consumption.’
Haley filed for divorce in 2022, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’, according to TMZ. She says that he is a ‘really good person’ and made her want to be better.
Kalil was a fourth-overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft for the Minnesota Vikings. After making the Pro Bowl in his rookie season, he’d spend five years with the team before playing for the Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans.
He retired following the 2019 season. Since then, he’s worked alongside his brother and fellow NFL offensive lineman, Ryan Kalil, and started a tequila company.
