The co-founder of Trump’s Truth Social platform was fired after refusing the former president’s demands to give some of his shares to Melania, according to a former executive.

Andy Litinsky believed that he was sacked from the board because he didn’t want to give over his equity – and also claimed Trump said ‘multiple times’ that he will ‘blow up the company’ if his demands weren’t met.

Litinsky, the co-founder of Trump Media & Technology Group, sent an e-mail in March making the accusation, according to whistleblower Will Wilkerson.

Wilkerson was in charge of the company responsible for the Trump-themed social media platform Truth Social.

He was one of the first to go to work for TMTG – but fell out with the company after filing a whistleblower complaint with the Securities and Exchange Commission in August, according to the Washington Post.

He shared internal logs, memos, photographs, videos that he’d given the SEC with the paper.

This interaction is allegedly one of many which show bitter infighting among Trump’s media company.

Trump Media was originally set to go public after a merger with Digital World Acquisition Corp., but the company has been pushing a vote to delay the merger.

The merger is also being investigated by the SEC, something TMTG has alleged is keeping the deal from going forward.

Wilkerson was fired Thursday after being suspended in early October for what TMTG called a ‘violation of his non-disclosure agreement’ after the SEC investigation of the company went public.

His complaint included e-mails from Litinsky – a former competitor on Trump’s NBC reality show The Apprentice – saying that Trump spent two months demanding he give the ex-First Lady equity.

In the emails shared by Wilkerson, Litinsky wrote: ‘As I have informed [President Trump] several times, I have earned that equity, and also ‘gifting’ equity to Melania Trump would be a taxable event of which I can’t afford to pay the taxes.’

He added that Trump repeatedly told himself and John Haley, who is representing the Trump Media and Technology Group in the merger, that he would ‘blow up the company’ and Litinsky said he was seeking counsel.

Wilkerson said: ‘Trump didn’t care. He said, ‘Do whatever you need to do.”

Litinsky was allegedly removed from the board of Trump Media & Technology Group just five months later.

A spokesperson for TMTG said in a statement to the Washington Post: ‘The Washington Post sent us an inquiry rife with knowingly false and defamatory statements and other concocted psychodramas.’

They added that President Trump and former Congressman Devin Nunes had created ‘a culture of compliance and built a world-class team to lead Truth Social,’ though they did not reference Wilkerson or Litinsky or their claims by name.

The Post claims that Wilkerson was fired by Trump’s company for making ‘unauthorized disclosures’ to the paper, according to his attorneys, who argue that this is unfairly retaliating against a whistleblower.

Attorneys for Wilkerson and spokespersons for both Trump Media & Technology Group and Digital World Acquisition Corp., the company seeking to take TMTG public, did not respond to DailyMail.com requests for comment.
