Tonight marks the conclusion of Didier Deschamps’ remarkable 14-year journey with the French national team, Les Bleus.
During his tenure, Deschamps led France to numerous triumphs, including a coveted World Cup victory. He also guided them to the finals of another World Cup and the European Championship, not to mention clinching the Nations League title along the way.
Kylian Mbappe, often viewed as the stylistic counterpart to Deschamps in football, has openly expressed his admiration and affection for the departing manager.
In a heartfelt message on X, Mbappe shared, “You who gave us so much. We should have offered you a better ending, but we failed.”
