Illinois Governor JB Pritzker is scheduled to host a news conference on Thursday to address the most egregious actions by the Trump administration in the state.

During the conference, he is also expected to urge the administration to ensure the safety of families and children during the Halloween festivities.

Governor Pritzker has consistently clashed with President Donald Trump, particularly concerning federal immigration enforcement activities in the Chicago region.
