(NEXSTAR) — A class action lawsuit settlement now offers an opportunity for certain ATM users at 7-Eleven stores to claim a share of $2.25 million. For those hoping to benefit, time is running out to submit your claims.
The lawsuit, initiated in California in 2019, accused Bank of America of improperly charging dual out-of-network fees for a single balance inquiry on ATMs situated within 7-Eleven locations.
Despite denying any fault, Bank of America decided to settle the dispute, agreeing to a $2.25 million payment to resolve the allegations.
Do I qualify for this Bank of America settlement?
Eligibility hinges on your customer status with Bank of America. Specifically, if you conducted a balance inquiry using an FCTI-owned ATM at a 7-Eleven between May 1, 2018, and November 16, 2021, you might qualify.

Former account holders who are notified of the settlement will need to submit a claim and select a preferred payment method. To file a claim, you’ll need the class member ID listed on the email or postcard notice you received.
