What Hailee Steinfeld said when challenged to say nice things about Josh Allen’s rival Chiefs

Hailee Steinfeld really struggled to say three nice things about the Chiefs.

During a recent episode of the show “Hot Ones Versus,” actress Hailee Steinfeld found herself in a tricky situation. She was teamed up with her “Sinners” co-star, Michael B. Jordan, for a unique challenge. The task at hand? To compliment the AFC rival team of her fiancé, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

Engaged in a fun game of the “Hot Ones” challenge, which is a spicy version of truth or dare, Steinfeld, 28, and Jordan, 38, went head-to-head. The rules were simple: the participant who eats the most hot wings first is declared the loser.

“Anger the Bills Mafia by saying three nice things about their rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs,” Jordan said.

“I can find nice things to say about anybody, even if I don’t like them — even if we don’t like them,” Steinfeld replied.

Buffalo’s season ended on Jan. 26 with a 32-29 loss to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game at Arrowhead Stadium.

“Yellow and red really complement them all pretty well,” Steinfeld said. “They are very loud… it’s great, you want that from a fanbase.”

As for a third, Steinfeld said, “They go hard for their team,” after a brief pause.

Jordan erupted into laughter as Steinfeld laughed before taking a swig of water.

This isn’t the first time Steinfeld has riled up Bills fans.

During an interview for the February cover of “WhoWhatWear,” the actress threw shade at Buffalo’s AFC East rivals.

While taking the brand’s football IQ quiz, Steinfeld had to name the four teams in the AFC East division.

As they tackled the challenge, Steinfeld playfully mentioned the AFC East teams, saying, “You got the Buffalo Bills and the Bills’ three sons,” as she counted the rival teams on her fingers. She was referring to the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, and New England Patriots, all competing against her fiancé’s team.

Steinfeld and Allen got engaged by the ocean in Malibu last November after roughly two years of dating.

They share a home in Buffalo.

Steinfeld and Jordan are currently promoting their upcoming thriller “Sinners,” which hits theaters April 18.
