The good news? Starz has an extra treat for Outlander (and Sam Heughan fans) next week. The Outlander Season 7 finale will be followed by the premiere of The Couple Next Door at 9:05 PM ET. The Couple Next Door is a scintillating erotic thriller starring Sam Heughan as a dashing police officer married to a hot Aussie yoga teacher. They soon get very involved in the lives of their new neighbors, played by Poldark‘s Eleanor Tomlinson and How To Get Away With Murder‘s Alfred Enoch.

What Is The Newest Season of Outlander?

Starz has already confirmed that there will be an Outlander Season 8. That’s the good news. The bad news? Outlander Season 8 will also be the final season of the beloved show. Outlander tars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe have already wrapped filming on Season 8, which will likely debut sometime in 2026.
If Outlander Season 7 is the newest season of Outlander, why can’t you find it on Netflix? Netflix typically only gets new seasons of Outlander about two years after the final episode of said season first airs on Starz. That means you might not be able to stream Outlander Season 7 on Netflix until 2027.

As we said, Outlander is indeed on Netflix, but right now you can only stream Seasons 1-6 on the popular streaming site You can only catch Outlander Season 7 on Starz.

Is This The Last Season of Outlander?
Outlander Season 7 is not the last season of Outlander. However, that doesn’t mean that the show will go on forever. Starz has already confirmed that Outlander Season 8 will be the finale season of the Starz show.
Before you despair, Outlander Season 8 isn’t doomed to be the end of Outlander. A new prequel series, Outlander: Blood of My Blood, has already wrapped filming its first season in Scotland. The new Outlander show will delve into how Claire’s parents fell for each other during World War I and how Jamie’s parents managed to overcome a feud between their clans with their love.
Jamie Roy and Harriet Slater will get to play Jamie’s parents, Brian Fraser and Ellen MacKenzie, while Hermione Corfield and Jeremy Irvine will bring Claire’s parents, Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp, to life. A few preview pics have already been released of them in character, but we’re still waiting with baited breath for a trailer or date announcement.
Outlander Season 7 will conclude next week on Friday, January 17.
