Hayden Christensen’s daughter with Rachel Bilson, Briar Rose, made her red-carpet debut at an event with special meaning for her father.
The 11-year-old joined Christensen at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art’s opening night in Los Angeles on Saturday. Father and daughter held hands while posing for photographs together.
Briar Rose dressed for the occasion in a white dress and strappy flats. Christensen, meanwhile, opted for a navy blazer over a gray T-shirt, paired with dark jeans.
The museum was co-founded by filmmaker George Lucas and his wife, Mellody Hobson. Lucas directed Christensen in the “Star Wars” prequel trilogy, in which the actor portrayed Anakin Skywalker.
Speaking to E! News on Saturday, Christensen said attending the museum’s opening was particularly meaningful. “This is really special for me. We’re very happy to be here, and it’s a real treat to get to share this with my daughter,” he said.
Briar Rose also reflected on seeing her father take on the iconic role of Darth Vader.
“It was really cool when I saw him up there,” she said.
Bilson and Christensen, both 45, began dating after meeting while working on the 2008 film “Jumper.” They became engaged in February 2009 and welcomed Briar Rose in October 2014.

The couple ultimately ended their relationship for good in September 2017, after nearly a decade together.
In January, the “Hart of Dixie” actress offered a rare update on her co-parenting relationship with her former fiancé, describing it as “great.”
“Ours is like a unique version of it, we get along very well,” Bilson said during an appearance on Kristin Cavallari’s “Let’s Be Honest” podcast. “We do a lot of stuff together. A lot.”
She added that she and Christensen had worked to maintain a peaceful relationship for their daughter. “We have been able to keep it very copacetic and nice for her,” Bilson said.
Bilson acknowledged that making their arrangement work required “a lot” of compromise.
“We weren’t ever married so we figured out our own way, our own path,” she explained.
Bilson also said she has remained close with Christensen’s family.
“And it’s been almost 19 years or something, which is a long time,” she noted.
