However, in a moment that stunned the home fans, Dodgers outfielder Andy Page made a remarkable catch, colliding with his teammate Kike Hernandez in the process. This spectacular play forced the game into extra innings, eventually leading to a Dodgers victory.

The tension escalated in the bottom of the 11th inning when Will Smith smashed a home run. Mookie Betts then executed a dramatic double play that secured back-to-back titles for Los Angeles, leaving Toronto fans in disbelief and sorrow.
