Where will the Dream host their WNBA Finals home games?
The Atlanta Dream are reportedly still working to confirm their home arena for the WNBA Finals.
Atlanta has hosted its playoff games at State Farm Arena, but a concert and two Atlanta Hawks games are already scheduled there on the dates of Games 3, 4 and 6.
During the regular season, the Dream played at Gateway Center Arena, which holds approximately 3,500 fans. State Farm Arena, by comparison, has a capacity of more than 17,000.
WXIA reports that possible alternatives include venues with more seating than Gateway Center but less than State Farm Arena, such as Georgia Tech’s McCamish Pavilion, Georgia State’s Convocation Center and Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia.
Beginning next season, the Dream are expected to play all of their home games at State Farm Arena.
