Hunter Biden Witness Engaged to Reality Star Savannah Chrisley

Jason Galanis, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, was identified Tuesday as the mystery man engaged to reality television star Savannah Chrisley.

The “Chrisley Knows Best” personality announced both her pregnancy and engagement to a man named “Jason” in an Instagram post. Us Weekly later identified her fiancé as Galanis.

Galanis, 56, said in 2024 testimony to the House Oversight Committee that he was in business with Hunter Biden from 2012 through 2015.

The two held equity stakes in Burnham Financial Group, where Hunter Biden served as vice chairman.

According to Galanis, Hunter was recruited because of the “strategic relationships” he could bring to the venture, including connections in Kazakhstan, Russia and China.

Through BFG subsidiary Burnham Securities, Galanis organized a $60 million fraud scheme involving the sale of bogus municipal bonds to the Wakpamni Lake Community of the Oglala Sioux Tribe in South Dakota, according to federal court records.

Galanis received a 189-month prison sentence in September 2020.

During his time behind bars, he briefly cooperated with House Republican investigators examining his business dealings with Hunter Biden, the son of the 46th president.

In virtual testimony, Galanis described a 2014 conversation involving then-Vice President Joe Biden, Hunter Biden and the former mayor of Moscow.

Galanis testified that during the May 4, 2014, call, Biden told former Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov and his wife, oligarch Yelena Baturina: “You be good to my boy.”

Two months earlier, Baturina had transferred $3.5 million to a company controlled by Hunter Biden and his business partner Devon Archer. Archer later became involved with Galanis in the tribal bond scheme.

Galanis also told Republican investigators that Hunter Biden’s chief ambition was “to make billions, not just millions” for his family.

“The entire value add of Hunter Biden to our business was his family name and his access to his father, Vice President Joe Biden,” Galanis testified. “Because of this access, I agreed to contribute equity ownership … for no out-of-pocket cost … in exchange for their, quote, relationship capital.”

President Trump commuted Galanis’ sentence last year. At the time, Galanis was serving a 14-year term at a corrections center in Montgomery, Ala.

Hunter Biden later minimized his connection to Galanis during his 2024 testimony before the House Oversight Committee.

“I think that 10 years ago for 30 minutes I was introduced to Jason Galanis, and that’s only – the only time I ever recall meeting him,” he said.

According to Page Six, Galanis and Savannah Chrisley’s father, Todd Chrisley, who was also pardoned by Trump, were both incarcerated at Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Fla., in 2023.

Galanis was previously nicknamed “Porn’s New King” because of his investments in internet pornography technology.
