HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KGO) — For the second time this week, a helicopter has crashed in California.

The crash happened at Huntington Beach Saturday and has left at least five people injured. It ended with the wrecked chopper tangled and dangling from several palm trees.

Investigators say the helicopter went down near an intersection along the Pacific Coast Highway in the afternoon. The wreckage was wedged inside trees in front of a Hyatt Regency Hotel.

Multiple videos posted online show the aircraft twirling clockwise above Huntington Beach, then plunging toward the edge of the beach, where it becomes wedged between the palms and a staircase. Video captured first responders, along with dozens of bystanders, running to the crash scene.
