I was in agony when my IUD came loose during wild sex — and I had to rush to the hospital

This put the “freak” in freak accident.

Love can be painful, but typically not to this extreme. An influencer from Brazil found herself in excruciating pain when her intrauterine device (IUD) became stuck inside her during a mishap during an intimate moment.

“That was when I realized that something was really wrong,” Andressa Urach, 37, told Jam Press while recounting the disastrous session in the sack, which happened on Feb. 14.

The Sao Paulo-based content creator, who boasts over 5 million followers on Instagram, had been filming a sex tape with her lover, Máximo Garcia, 31, during which the romp got quite “intense.”

Things got too hot to handle when, in the throes of passion, Urach started to feel some discomfort down under.

“I started feeling pain similar to cramps but much stronger and more localized,” recalled the backed-up bombshell, who initially thought it was a side effect of rough sex.

However, Urach quickly realized that was not the case after “experiencing abdominal discomfort that intensified over the afternoon.”

Alarmed, the influencer quickly rushed to the hospital to see what was amiss. Doctors confirmed that her IUD — a T-shaped prophylactic that is inserted into the uterus to prevent pregnancy — had shifted, something they observed could happen in “rare cases.”

“I’ve been using the IUD for three years because it’s convenient, and I’ve never had any issues until now,” said Urach. “It was a surprise and, of course, something that worried me.”

Medics recommended that the device be removed immediately to prevent complications. Fortunately, the operation was a success, and Urach said she is recovering well following the boudoir backfire.

“I am already feeling better,” declared Urach, who said the incident hasn’t turned her off from getting super freaky in the future.

Her partner Garcia, who didn’t sustain any injuries during the rough romp, said he’s relieved that his soulmate is fine.

“I’m glad she is already well and taken care of,” he said.

Despite the accident, doctors claimed that “with proper precautions, there is no reason for concern,” Urach said.

Meanwhile, the experts at health.com acknowledged that, in general, it’s “rare for your IUD to shift, but it’s possible, especially after insertion.”

“Pain during sex can indicate your IUD has moved to the cervix,” they write. “Other signs your IUD may have moved include the inability to feel the IUD strings with your fingers, abdominal pain, and abnormal bleeding.”

If one believes that their IUD has migrated, it’s essential to speak to a doctor as soon as possible because a displaced contraceptive device may no longer work — which could result in an unintended pregnancy, per the site.

This isn’t the first time Urach has made headlines over hanky-panky.

Several years back, the model sparked backlash after it was revealed that her 19-year-old son Arthur films her raunchy videos for OnlyFans.

But he appeared to be unbothered with his taboo side hustle.

“Well, for me it’s really work … because she’s my mother and I’m not attracted to her,” Arthur said in an interview with Spanish Channel, Programa Chupim, before admitting that certain scenes could get a little “gross.”
