On Monday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) unveiled its latest compilation of criminal illegal immigrants who have been convicted of a series of “horrific crimes.” This list, dubbed the “worst of the worst,” includes individuals responsible for offenses such as pedophilia, kidnapping, and other violent acts.
The agency disclosed the identities of 15 individuals apprehended over the weekend. This group, consisting of 13 men and two women, hails from countries including the Dominican Republic, China, Angola, Mexico, and various South American nations.
According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), a significant number of these offenders were convicted in states like New York, Florida, and Texas.
“This weekend, ICE took action against pedophiles, sexual predators, kidnappers, and other violent offenders,” stated Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “Our law enforcement officers are dedicated to removing dangerous criminals from our communities every day. If you enter our country illegally and violate our laws, we will locate and arrest you. There is no place for criminals in the U.S.”
Among those arrested is Alejandro Santos-Fernandez, a Mexican national, who faced convictions for burglary and other serious offenses in Texas.

Guadalupe Mercado-Guerra, from Mexico, reportedly touched a minor inappropriately multiple times in Travis County, Texas, near the city of Austin. He was convicted of three counts of indecency with a child by contact, according to the DHS.
Chinese national Ruowei Liu was convicted of prostitution in Virginia. (DHS)
Ruowei Liu, from China, reportedly engaged in prostitution and managed a residence for that purpose in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was convicted of prostitution and keeping a bawdy house, according to the DHS.
