The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reported that among the four bodies recently returned by Hamas, one does not correspond to any of the deceased hostages. This revelation came after thorough examinations were conducted at the National Institute of Forensic Medicine.

“The fourth body handed over by Hamas does not match any of our hostages,” stated the IDF. “Hamas must exert all necessary efforts to return the bodies of the deceased hostages to Israel,” they emphasized in a statement.

All surviving hostages were released following a deal facilitated by former President Donald Trump. However, he expressed on Truth Social that the mission remains incomplete due to the absence of the deceased hostages’ bodies.

“All twenty hostages are back and in as good a condition as can be expected. A significant burden has been lifted, yet our work is unfinished. The bodies of the deceased have not been returned as promised,” Trump declared in a post on Tuesday, urging immediate action for what he termed “Phase Two.”
