Illegal Immigrant Identified as Suspect in Drone Attack Plot Targeting White House UFC Event

An alarming plot to execute a drone attack during a UFC event at the White House has brought the spotlight onto Abraham Alvarez, whom the Department of Homeland Security identifies as the mastermind behind the scheme. This revelation has stirred significant concern, as Alvarez is an illegal immigrant from Mexico.

According to officials, Alvarez entered the United States as a child and remained past the expiration of his B2 visa, which lapsed in 2001. However, he was later granted deportation relief under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program during the Obama administration, allowing him to stay in the country.

Alvarez is among five individuals implicated in a chilling conspiracy to assassinate President Trump and other high-ranking officials during a UFC event hosted on the White House South Lawn. The event, known as UFC Freedom 250, attracted thousands of spectators eager to witness the combat sports spectacle.

The group allegedly devised a plan to use drones armed with explosives to target the event, with a secondary scheme involving snipers to attack those attempting to escape the chaos. Fortunately, the plot was intercepted and dismantled by the FBI and local law enforcement, preventing what could have been a catastrophic incident.

Authorities have emphasized Alvarez’s pivotal role in orchestrating the attack, highlighting his efforts in planning and directing the operation. The swift intervention by federal and local authorities was crucial in averting this potential tragedy, underscoring the ongoing challenges in addressing threats of this magnitude.

“This illegal alien from Mexico should never have been allowed in our country,” DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “He was the ringleader of a failed terror attack targeting UFC Freedom 250 at the White House.”

“He will face justice and swiftly be removed from our country,” she added of Alvarez.

Federal investigators are looking into 23 individuals who were allegedly part of the plot.

Those arrested face possible life sentences and a $250,000 fine if convicted of conspiracy to commit murder, with an additional maximum penalty of five years in prison for planning to commit an act ot violence on White House grounds.
