() The Idaho State Police have released 699 photos from inside Bryan Kohberger’s Pullman, Washington, apartment and office at Washington State University.

In photos obtained by , Kohberger had writing all over his office whiteboard, some of which read “Take it easy!” and “Don’t give up.”

Criminal justice books were also found in Kohberger’s residence, which were ostensibly related to his teaching assistant role and pursuit of a Ph.D. in criminology.

One book did cover the sexual victimization of women on college campuses. A former professor of Kohberger’s warned of his dangerous tendencies months before he murdered Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Ethan Chapin and Xana Kernodle in 2022.

In the living room, greeting cards were on Kohberger’s television stand, ostensibly from family members. A card seemingly from his mother read, “A son never leaves your home, but never leaves your heart.”

A black glove was also found in Kohberger’s closet, but it was not connected to the murder.

Photos of Kohberger’s in-depth research papers were also taken. The subjects included getting into the minds of criminals, the death penalty and small-town policing.

Kohberger is being held in Idaho’s maximum security prison and says he is being tormented and threatened by fellow inmates.
