Dont let rain get in the way of your weekend plans

There is too much going on this weekend and in Daytona for rain to get in the way. If you have plans to run, look at beautiful cars, enjoy some food and wine or kick off Bike Week, then you might want to bring along the Weather Authority app.

The forecast lays out like this: Cloudy, cool and breezy tonight. Friday will bring increasing rain chances. Scattered showers and storms will be possible on Saturday. Sunday will see reduced chances of rain and a peek of sun between the mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies. While rain chances will remain a part of our weekend forecast, there will be some dry time in between the showers and storms.

FutureCast will be a big help to find the dry time between showers and storms to enjoy your day or some of the local festivities.

You can find the FutureCast on the Radar page. The blue circle at the bottom right of your screen opens everything from FutureCast to Storm Tracker, Lightning and Watches and Warnings. All of which can help you stay ahead of storms and keep you dry.

If you are using our Radar and Weather App make sure you have location on so the information is timely for your area.

Have fun, take lots of pictures and don’t forget to post them on SnapJax.
