EVANSVILLE, Ind. Two Los Angeles residents have been arrested in southern Indiana after police found pounds of meth hidden inside Cheetos bags at a local post office.
Police were notified on Wednesday about two suspicious packages sent by mail to Evansville. Authorities believed the packages contained narcotics.
A detective responded to the facility and found approximately 40 pounds of meth inside the packages. The drugs were hidden inside bags of Cheetos Puffs, which can be seen below:

Police said the packages were delivered to a home in the 1800 block of Ridgeway Avenue in Evansville. Detectives surveilled the area and soon saw a white van arrive at the home.
Two people – later identified as Natasha Garner and Goldie Flenor – reportedly retrieved the packages and got back into the van. The 46-year-old Garner and 36-year-old Flenor are both from Los Angeles.
As detectives attempted to pull over the white van, the driver reportedly accelerated and tried to flee police. During this time, police said the suspect’s car hit a marked Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office SUV. A photo of the crash damage can be seen below:

After the crash, the driver reportedly stopped the car and both suspects were taken into custody without further incident. Both suspects were then taken to a detention center in Henderson, Kentucky.
A federal complaint has since been filed against both Garner and Flenor, charging both of them with Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine. The Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force investigated this case.
