The arrest report states the man left 19 voicemails on the Secret Service agent’s phone after the initial contact, which came after the man made a threat on TikTok.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville man was arrested last month after making threats toward former Vice President Kamala Harris and Minn. Rep. Ilhan Omar on TikTok, and later threatening Secret Service agents, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO).

On Feb. 11, the police report says a comment was left under a video regarding Harris with the username, “@DaleJarrell,” that referred to shooting Harris. Another comment from the same username threatened twice to kill Omar.

The report states the number associated with the account belonged to 59-year-old Franklin Jarrell. A Secret Service agent and JSO officer called Jarrell and requested an interview. Jarrell told them he posted the threats, the report says, and he stated he would beat up the agent.

The agent told Jarrell that free speech didn’t apply to “terroristic threats” toward a former vice president. The report states Jarrell became more “verbally aggressive” and threatened to kick the agent’s teeth in. Jarrell told the agent he had a house full of weapons and the agent “would never leave the property” if he showed up. Then, Jarrell hung up.

Jarrell called the agent 23 times and left 19 voicemails in a more than two-and-a-half-hour period, the report states. In the voicemails, he threatened to attack the agent, kill the agent and kill Harris, according to the report.

” … it’s time to figure out where I’m at All done Jacksonville You find me very easy I will kill you and the piece of (expletive) Kamala Harris … We don’t like Yankees,” Jarrell said in one of the voicemails, according to the report.

JSO officers arrived at Jarrell’s Westside home later in the day and arrested him without incident, the report states.

Jarrell has been in custody since Feb. 18 and has a hold from the U.S. Marshal Service, meaning the agency wants to take custody of him.
