In a startling announcement on Friday, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem revealed a series of significant arrests executed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the Twin Cities region of Minnesota. Those apprehended include individuals with convictions for repeated child sexual offenses, murder, DUI incidents, and other violent crimes.

Among these offenders is Aldrin Guerrero-Munoz, who has been serving a 32-year prison sentence since 2004 for the premeditated killing of his 3-month-old son, with the cost of his incarceration borne by taxpayers.

While behind bars, Guerrero-Munoz was also found guilty of attacking another inmate at Stillwater Prison, as reported by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). ICE has now placed a detainer on him and took him into custody this past Monday.

“Sanctuary city leaders, like Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, who refuse to cooperate with ICE, are enabling criminals such as Aldrin Guerrero-Munoz to roam our neighborhoods unchecked,” Noem stated. “Under President Donald Trump’s administration, ICE is prioritizing the safety and security of Americans over political correctness and the pretense of moral high ground.”

Noem said 70% of ICE arrests are of illegal immigrants convicted or charged with a crime in the U.S.

“This statistic doesn’t even include foreign fugitives, illegal aliens convicted of crimes in other countries, gang members, and suspected terrorists,” she added.

Other criminal illegal immigrants arrested in the area include:
