Lando Norris, renowned for his prowess on the racetrack, still finds himself affectionately doted on by his girlfriend.
His Portuguese partner, Margarida Corceiro, captured a tender moment, referring to Norris, 26, as ‘my little world champion’ in a selfie they took after his recent F1 title victory.
Since clinching his inaugural Drivers’ Championship, the McLaren star has been swept up in a whirlwind of festivities, filled with jubilant celebrations, indulgence in McDonald’s, and a significant tab at the bar.
According to a report by The Sun, Norris and his entourage accumulated a staggering £100,000 bill at various hotel bars, celebrating until around 6 a.m. on Monday.
Joining Norris in the revelry were Corceiro, his parents Adam and Cisca, his brother Oliver, other close friends, and his McLaren team, all singing classics like “Sweet Caroline” and “We Are The Champions.”
He later shared photos of his wild night out – first at the Pearls & Caviar bar in the Shangri-La Hotel, then at the Amber Lounge in the W Hotel – and reflected that ‘a lifetime of work went into this hangover’.

It has been a lifetime, almost. He started competitive karting aged eight and made his F1 debut aged 19 in 2019 with his beloved McLaren team.
He cut an emotional figure on the track after sealing his title, keeping his helmet on for a while to hide his tears, and embracing his family and Corceiro, his 23-year-old model girlfriend with whom he was first spotted in Monaco in 2023.
Lando only arrived at the Shangri-La at around 1am – four hours after everyone else had started carousing – because of the volume of interviews he had to do.
Within 45 minutes, their bar closed, and so it was off to the Amber Lounge, with Norris’ team laying on cars for everyone, as per The Sun.
A source told the outlet: ‘People in there were stunned when Lando and his entourage bowled in but they were the life and soul of the party.
‘He was up singing and his family and friends went hard – some of them didn’t finish up until 6am yesterday, including his mum and dad.
‘Lando was on Cloud Nine all night. Even his first party’s messy ending didn’t dampen his spirits.
‘It’s a night none of them will ever forget – especially for whoever ended up paying the tab – it was around £100,000 towards the end of the party.’

During the rendition of Sweet Caroline, Norris bounced up and down and was even lifted in the air by some of his counterparts.
Some vodka went down his neck – without Red Bull mixer, it must be said. His father apparently danced like David Brent. ‘Horrific scenes,’ Norris recalled. At 6am, it was time for McDonald’s.
‘I wanted McNuggets, but they didn’t have any because it was morning,’ he said. ‘So it was sausage, egg and maybe chicken something.’
On Monday he went down to the sunbeds at the Hilton Hotel and his parents headed out for a pizza.
The grind doesn’t stop: Tuesday’s task is a tyre test at the Yas Marina Circuit where he lifted his title.
And what memories he will have of that place for life. In front of a packed house of fans and a stack of celebrities – think Emily Ratajkowski, Gordon Ramsay and football favourites Thierry Henry, Micah Richards and Kate Scott – Norris claimed a crown which only 34 men had taken before him.
His girlfriend Corceiro was also among those watching the race from the McLaren garage – and as Norris crossed the line, she was among those celebrating as their star man broke down in tears over the in-car radio.
‘That’s it mate, you are world champion. Is this the world champion hotline?’ came the call down the radio from McLaren CEO Zak Brown as the party started.

He replied: ‘Thank you guys. You made a kid’s dream true. Thank you guys. I love you mum, I love you dad, thanks for everything.’
Meanwhile, speaking in an interview immediately after the race, an emotional Norris, who had been forced to wipe his eyes before he hugged his overjoyed mother Cisca, opened up on his achievement.
‘Oh God,’ he began. ‘I have not cried in a while, I didn’t think I would cry but I did. It is a long journey. I want to say a big thanks to my guys, everyone at McLaren, my parents.
‘I am not crying. My mum, my dad, they are they ones who I supported me at the beginning. Oh, I look like a loser! It feels amazing. I now know what Max feels like a bit, I want to congratulate Max and Oscar, it has been an honour.
‘It had been a long year, but we did it, and I am so proud of everyone. I knew it was a long race and anything can happen, I kept pushing until the last two or three laps but I wanted to fight to the end, that is what we had to do this season. Max and Oscar did not make my life easy this year. But I am happy.
‘Not many people in Formula One get to experience what I have experienced this year. I am happy for everyone more than me, I am crazy happy.
‘It’s been a long journey with me and McLaren, we have been through crazy difficult times and plenty of good times. I feel like I did my part for the team this year, I am very proud of myself but more proud for everyone I have made cry.’
