New US intelligence reports suggest that Israel is getting ready for a potential strike on Iran’s nuclear sites, despite the Trump administration’s attempts to establish diplomacy with Tehran.
Based on intercepted communications among Israeli officials and monitoring of Israeli military movements, US intelligence sources have indicated that an attack could be on the horizon.
A source with knowledge of US intelligence expressed that the likelihood of an Israeli assault on an Iranian nuclear plant has increased notably in recent months. Moreover, the possibility of a US-Iran agreement negotiated by Trump that does not eliminate all of Iran’s uranium stocks further raises the likelihood of an attack.
Air munitions movements and the completion of air exercises by Israel’s forces are among the signs of a possible strike on the Islamic Republic, CNN reports.
Such a strike risks triggering a broader regional conflict in the Middle East, experts have warned.
