Ivanka Trump has no intention of going back to the White House to assist her father in governing the nation during his second term. She is direct in stating her dislike for politics, declaring, “I hate politics.”

President-elect Donald Trump’s eldest daughter, who was among his top advisers during his first stint, told the Skinny Confidential’s “Him & Her Show” podcast on Tuesday that she is steering clear of Washington DC this time around.

“I love policy and impact. I hate politics. And unfortunately, the two are not separable,” Ivanka, 43, said, adding it is a “very dark, negative business.”

“There is a darkness to that world that I don’t really want to welcome into mine.”

Ivanka, who relocated to Florida with her family after Trump’s 2020 election loss, said she still plans to “show up” for her dad as he makes his return.

“I think I’m most looking forward to just being able to show up for him as a daughter and be there for him to take his mind off things, to watch a movie with him, or watch a sports game,” she said.

“It’s the world’s loneliest position — the enormity of the decisions you’re making on a daily basis, how transactional everyone is with you.”
