JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville resident has been handed a 40-year prison sentence following a guilty plea for luring and raping four women in his apartment.
On Thursday, Brett Pincomb, age 31, admitted guilt to an array of charges including five counts of sexual battery, two counts of attempted sexual battery, as well as charges of aggravated battery, kidnapping, and false imprisonment.
As stipulated in his plea deal, Pincomb will spend the next 40 years in Florida State Prison located in Bradford County. He will then face 10 years under sex offender probation and will carry the designation of a sexual predator permanently.
Police documents reveal that Pincomb enticed these women to his Deerwood residence over the span of May 13 to May 15. Authorities propose that he connected with the victims using an online platform designed for arranging prostitution in at least three instances.
Pincomb further admitted to law enforcement that he had made at least six additional unsuccessful assault attempts while wielding a knife or taser.
