In addition to his federal prison sentence, the man will pay $16,000 in restitution to victims and register as a sex offender, according to the Department of Justice.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville man has been sentenced to federal prison after authorities found him in possession of and distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) involving toddler-aged children, the Department of Justice announced Thursday.
Tyler McClure, 25, was sentenced to one year and seven months in prison, the DOJ said. Once released, he will serve 13 years of supervised release, register as a sex offender and pay $16,000 in restitution to the victims.
Court records indicate that the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in June 2025. The report concerned CSAM uploaded to an app by a user operating under the name “Ava_Tree_.” The files were reportedly posted between late May and early June of that year.

After examining the files, investigators determined that the account, later linked to McClure, had uploaded “several videos that depicted minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct,” according to the DOJ. Court records also describe text messages in which McClure negotiated prices with other app users to sell the material.
A multi-agency search warrant was executed at McClure’s Jacksonville home on Oct. 7, 2025. Investigators seized a tablet from the residence. McClure was not home at the time, but authorities later found him at a construction site and seized his cellphone.
The DOJ said investigators recovered at least 47 videos and seven photos depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct from the tablet and cellphone. The children shown in the files were described as toddler-aged.
McClure was arrested on Nov. 18, 2025, and pleaded guilty in June 2026.
