Kayla Bailey previously went missing in August and was found safe August 20. She was missing for the second time on Sunday.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville mother of five Kayla Bailey has gone missing for a second time, according to a newly-filed missing persons report.

The report was filed Sunday when she was reported missing by her brother and grandmother.

Bailey was previously reported missing on August 18, and police asked the public for help, saying they believed she could be in danger. She was found on August 20 in the woods. Her mother said police identified her when they saw her laying on the ground kicking her feet.

After she was found, Bailey’s husband was arrested for violating a restraining order she had against him. He was still in jail Sunday when she went missing again.

The missing persons report for Bailey says her brother asked her if she would like to go to the store with him that day. He said no, so he left the home, leaving Bailey and her grandmother in the living room. He told police that when he returned, Bailey was gone and the grandmother was asleep.

“The victim did not make any statements of leaving and did not express any statements to cause harm to herself or others before leaving,” the report said. “The victim is not diagnosed with any mental illness and can take care of herself.”

However, the brother did tell police she had been “down and not herself” lately.

Police searched the home and did not find Bailey. They also called local hospitals and did not find her; she also did not answer her phone, according to the report.
