Authorities in Jacksonville are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a senior woman discovered on Sunday afternoon near Lindy Trail, adjacent to Ricker Road.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is reaching out for help in identifying an elderly woman who was found lost on Sunday.

The woman was located by officers at approximately 1:20 p.m. near Lindy Trail and Ricker Road, as reported by the sheriff’s office.

“Our goal is to find out her identity and connect her with her family so that she can return home safely,” the agency stated.

The woman is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, and possibly of Haitian descent. In a photo, she is seen wearing a black bonnet over her gray hair, a black shirt, a multicolored green skirt, and white slides.

JSO said her last name might be “St. Louis.”
