At around 9:15 p.m. Friday, patrol officers responded to reports of a person being shot off of Fitzgerald Street. After arriving, they found a man in his early 20s dead.

Authorities say there are multiple people detained as of Saturday morning, and it’s unclear what led up to the shooting, as well as the relationships of those involved.

An investigation is ongoing.

At around 7:10 a.m., officers responded to reports of a person shot off of West 11th Street. After arriving, they found a man in his mid 20s suffering from a gunshot wound.

Authorities say the man, who was injured on his left thigh, was taken to an area hospital where he is stable.

According to JSO, an initial investigation revealed that the man was inside a home when he got into a domestic-related argument with a woman. During the argument, officials say the woman retrieved a firearm.

Officials say all people involved in the incident are now in custody.

Authorities say the man, who was left with injuries to his left arm and face, was taken to an area hospital where he is stable.

According to JSO, an initial investigation revealed that the man was parked at a gas station when he got into an argument with another man who tried to enter his car. After refusing to let him in the car, officials say the suspect pulled out a handgun and shot the victim.

Investigators described the suspect to be 5’9″-5’10” with a low haircut. He was also reportedly wearing a black t-shirt.
