Makaylee Sullivan demands justice after her father’s death is livestreamed, saying her family is devastated by the graphic video and that no arrests have been made.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The daughter of a Jacksonville father of six is demanding answers after she says her father’s death was captured on a Facebook Live stream earlier this month.

Noah Sullivan, 41, was shot and killed Sept. 2 on Paul Avenue on Jacksonville’s Southside. His daughter, 21‑year‑old Makaylee Sullivan, said the family continues to grieve as an online video showing the moments leading up to and following his death has drawn nearly 90,000 views.

“I had to identify his body,” Makaylee said. “He had a lifetime to go.”

The livestream video ran around 45 minutes.

According to Sullivan’s family, it begins with Noah Sullivan spending time with two women they knew. As the recording continues, he can be heard demanding the women leave while taking a phone away. Minutes later, the screen goes dark. Screams erupt, a single gunshot is heard and Sullivan can be heard crying out that he was dying. One of the women then calls police.

“The fact that it’s still even up on Facebook really bothers me,” Makaylee said. “Not only am I watching it, but his other kids can see it too.”

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office confirmed Sullivan was shot to death and said two people were detained for questioning on the night of the shooting. More than three weeks later, no arrests have been made.

“I understand it has to be investigated,” Makaylee said. “But with the video being shown, and my dad asking them to leave as many times as he did, I feel like an arrest should have been made for sure.”

Sullivan’s daughter caring for her newborn child, who she said was born six weeks early, the same hospital her father died at.

“It’s very heartbreaking that my dad’s not here anymore because of stupidity, because of the stupid people in this world,” she said through tears. “Nobody is being held accountable, and it hurts.”

Makaylee said she will not stop pushing for justice, no matter how long it takes.

“I will never give up,” she said. “If it takes five, six, ten years, I will never give up. I will make sure, if not both of them, at least the shooter goes to jail.”

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains ongoing and declined to provide further details. Officials confirmed they were aware of the livestream early in the case.

Attempts to reach the two women shown in the video for comment were unsuccessful.

A GoFundMe has also been created to help the family.
