The Jacksonville Jaguars are riding high on a wave of success, having secured their place in the NFL playoffs following a streak of six consecutive victories.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The NFL playoff picture is coming into clearer focus, and among the teams locking in their postseason berths are the resurgent Jacksonville Jaguars.
With a solid 11-4 record, the Jaguars officially punched their ticket to the playoffs after Monday Night Football concluded. The Colts’ defeat at the hands of the 49ers was the decisive factor that also benefited two other AFC contenders: the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Chargers.
Currently leading their division, the Jaguars’ impressive streak sets them up well to cement their top spot. They face a crucial showdown against the Colts in Indianapolis this Sunday, with the added advantage if the Texans falter against the Chargers on Saturday.
The team has at least secured an AFC wildcard position, marking their return to the playoffs after appearances in 2022 and 2017, as confirmed by the Jaguars organization.
The next and last home game of the regular season is in Week 18, when the Jaguars host the Tennessee Titans. Tickets are on sale now, although the date and time have not yet been decided.
