Jennifer Aniston has been wearing a toe ring since her ‘Friends’ days

Jennifer Aniston’s preferred piece of jewelry, often overlooked, has been subtly on display for years.

While the actress is known for her love of hoop earrings, layered necklaces, and timeless gold bangles, few are aware of her fondness for toe rings.

In particular, there’s one toe ring that stands out.

Since at least 2001, Aniston has been consistently seen wearing the same gold toe ring on the middle toe of her left foot.

Although she experimented with various styles around 2000 and 2001, the slim gold band and its specific placement have remained a constant in her jewelry collection ever since.

It seems fitting, since toe rings were a huge jewelry trend in the early aughts. Though first popularized in the 1970s, they reemerged in the 2000s with the rise of flip-flops and strappy sandals.

As such, it seems that Aniston dipped her toes into the trend almost 25 years ago and never looked back.

This particular gold band has been a constant companion to the 56-year-old.

She won her first and only Emmy Award in 2002 while wearing it. She was photographed for the cover of InStyle’s September 2018 issue wearing it. It has seen her through relationships with Brad Pitt, Justin Theroux, John Mayer and now, Jim Curtis.

Aniston has stayed true to her own personal style, from head to, well, toe, since her days as Rachel Green on “Friends.”

Similar to ribbed tanks, cropped chinos, slip dresses and other enduring styles of the ’90s and ’00s, Aniston’s simple toe ring has truly stood the test of time.
