Jennifer Lopez faced the ire of tennis enthusiasts when she donned an oversized sunhat at the men’s singles final at the All England Club yesterday.
At 56, the acclaimed singer took significant measures to shield herself from the sun as she watched Jannik Sinner secure victory over Alexander Zverev, earning the championship for the second year in a row.
However, her choice of headwear was labeled as ‘inappropriate’ by some spectators, who found it inconsiderate to those sitting behind her.
Expressing frustration on X (formerly known as Twitter), one disgruntled fan wrote: ‘@JLo this type of hat is inappropriate for such events! You should do your homework, lady!’
Another joked that it was so big it looked like she had folded up a cardboard box as they wrote: ‘JLo looks like she has made her hat from an amazon box!’
Other frustrated fans added: ‘@JLo just so you know, with that hat, guests that paid a lot of money to be right there , can’t watch because you like to look good for Instagram.’;

Italy’s Sinner who secured the Wimbledon championship for the second year in a row as he beat Germany’s Zverev in the men’s singles final.
Having lost the first set, Sinner won 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 6-4 on Centre Court to claim his second title in as many years at the All England Club.
The Italian, who did not have rival Carlos Alcaraz to contend with due to injury, breezed to victory in a little under four hours to become just the tenth man to retain the title in the Open era.
