Jennifer Lopez stole the spotlight on Saturday evening when she arrived at the Los Angeles Opera Ball Opening Night Gala.
The 57-year-old entertainer, who was recently seen leaving the gym, made a dramatic entrance in a plunging black Dolce & Gabbana dress paired with a striking accent coat.
The statement outerwear featured a substantial brown fur collar and matching cuffs. Its black fabric was decorated with colorful floral embroidery and opened to reveal a pale blue satin lining.
The Bronx native completed the boho-chic ensemble with open-toe black platform heels.
Her stylists, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, finished the look with a bold statement necklace and coordinating earrings.
Lopez wore her walnut-colored hair parted in the center and swept into a low bun, leaving a few loose strands to frame her face.

For her makeup, the veteran performer chose an enchanting smoky mauve eye look.
She paired it with matching blush and matte lipstick, adding a darker liner to define and emphasize her lips.
Later that evening, Lopez offered her 239 million Instagram followers a closer look at the glamorous outfit.
She captioned the carousel, ‘Night Out,’ alongside three brown, black and blue heart emojis that echoed the color palette of her fringed coat.
Earlier this month, the multihyphenate star took a more natural approach, showing off her makeup-free complexion while discussing a new chapter in her life.
In an Instagram reel shared through her JLo Beauty brand, she walked fans through her skincare routine and highlighted the value of sticking to daily rituals during times of change.
Lopez is now an empty nester after her 18-year-old twins, Max and Oskar Muñiz, recently left for college.
‘I was just about to start my skincare routine, and I was thinking about routines because my kids are going away to college,’ she began.
The mother of two explained that she made the most of her time with the teenagers over the summer, including during a trip to Italy.
She accessorized with a statement necklace and earrings, while her walnut-toned hair was styled in a center part, low bun and loose face-framing pieces

‘And the travel was crazy, and it wreaks havoc on your skin,’ she reflected, adding: ‘But those routines really keep you going. I think when they go away, and I’m sitting here being an empty nester, and crying, and thinking about them and looking at baby pictures of them… these routines are the things that are going to keep me kind of sane.’
Lopez listed working out and doing her skincare as her everyday emotional anchors.
She welcomed twins Oskar and Max with Anthony, 58, in 2008 during their ten-year marriage.
The proud parent said she’s excited for her kids ‘to step into this new era of their life,’ while also recognizing that it’s a new era of her life as well.
‘It’s a scary time, it’s a transitional time, it’s a new beginning in a lot of ways,’ she declared while speaking against a backdrop of a blue sky and green treetops.
She urged viewers to ‘keep your routines going, stay hydrated, stay happy, stay joyful, stay productive.’
‘You’re gorgeous,’ gushed one follower in the comments, while others called her a ‘natural beauty.’
