Jessica Simpson and her husband, Eric Johnson, have separated after 10 years of marriage.

“Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage,” Simpson told People in a statement Monday.

The “Irresistible” singer, 44, sparked breakup speculation when fans noticed that she hadn’t posted photos with her spouse, 45, since 2023.

Eagle-eyed spies also noticed that the fashion designer hasn’t been wearing her wedding ring in her social media posts since January 2024.

More recently, Simpson shared a photo of herself wearing a sexy lace ensemble in September, in which she was missing her wedding ring.

“Definitely a divorce,” one person commented on her post.

“Wedding ring is gone,” a follower said.

“This screams I’m getting divorced,” a third chimed in.

The retired NFL player shares three kids with Simpson: Maxwell, 12, Ace, 11, and Birdie, 5.

Johnson was noticeably absent from a family photoshoot posted to Instagram by Simpson in early September that captured their kids’ first day back to school.

“Maxwell, Ace and Birdie y’all make your Mom beam with smiles and grace!” she captioned the post with no mention of her now-estranged husband. 

“Keep on showin’ up for yourselves with each step of the way through this new school year!” she continued. “I’m so very proud of y’all for individually shining your light so that in return others feel the glow.”

Simpson and Johnson started dating in May 2010 when the former athlete was still married to his first wife, Keri D’Angelo.

He and D’Angelo finalized their divorce in October 2010 and Johnson went on to marry the pop star four years later in July 2014.

The “Open Book” author was previously married to Nick Lachey from 2002 to 2006. Their marriage was documented in their MTV reality show, “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica,” for three seasons during the course of their failed marriage.

Simpson was also in a relationship with John Mayer and was romantically linked to Tony Romo, Billy Corgan, Adam Levine and Johnny Knoxville.
