Joe Rogan goes ballistic on Trump's handling of Epstein files

Joe Rogan has become the latest MAGA ally to turn on the Trump administration over its handling of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation.

The highly successful podcaster, known for drawing young male voters to the MAGA movement during the November election, has become more critical of Trump’s actions since his return to the White House.

His criticism of the Epstein investigation adds tension to his relationship with the president. Previously, he has criticized ICE raids and efforts to integrate Canada as the 51st state of the US.

‘They claimed to have videotapes and now suddenly they don’t,’ Rogan remarked sarcastically. ‘What happened? Why did they say there were thousands of hours of tapes showing people doing terrible things?’

‘Didn’t Pam Bondi say that?’

Rogan is referring to Attorney General Bondi’s comments in July 1, just days before the Department of Justice revealed there was no ‘client list’ after months of peddling theories about the sought-after document.

At the time, she told journalists the FBI was reviewing ‘tens of thousands of videos’ of Epstein ‘with children, or child porn.’

Back in February, Bondi said the client list was ‘on her desk’ waiting to be reviewed, but White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has since clarified she was instead referring to a cache of Epstein files, rather than a client list specifically.

In June, FBI Director Kash Patel tried to gently let down the MAGA loyalists who had high expectations for the Epstein investigation.

Rogan noted he was on the show saying ‘if there was [a videotape], nothing you’re looking for is on those tapes.’

The podcaster suggested Trump was now trying to distance himself from his campaign promises about uncovering the Epstein secrets and distract his supporters.

‘Just bomb Iran and everybody forgets. Everybody forgets about it,’ Rogan said.

Rogan has recently expressed concerns over several elements of Trump’s policy, including his efforts to ramp up deportations.

He called Trump’s ICE raids ‘insane’ and ‘horrific’ in a July 3 episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, and agreed with Amjad Masad, the CEO of Replit, that the actions of Trump’s administration were ‘disappointing.’

‘There’s two things that are insane,’ Rogan said. ‘One is the targeting of migrant workers. Not cartel members, not gang members, not drug dealers.

‘Just construction workers. Showing up in construction sites, raiding them. Gardeners. Like, really?’

Now, he joins a chorus of MAGA voices speaking out against Bondi and the Epstein investigation.

Far-right media personality Laura Loomer warned Republicans that the lack of revelations in the Epstein case will cost them elections in the future.

‘People make their own choices and decisions, but mark my word, the lack of actual results at the DOJ and lack of transparency that translates into incompetence will cost the GOP House and Senate seats.’

‘Don’t say I didn’t warn you,’ she added. Billionaire Elon Musk took a side when he unfollowed Bondi on X.

On his podcast, conservative luminary Tucker Carlson theorized that Bondi is orchestrating a cover-up in order to protect members of the intelligence community who were ensnared in Epstein’s conduct.

Bondi concluded that Epstein did in fact kill himself, and did not keep a 'client list' with incriminating evidence

‘The current DOJ under Pam Bondi is covering up crimes, very serious crimes by their own description,’ Carlson said. ‘Intel services are at the very center of this story, U.S. and Israeli and they’re being protected.’

Trump rushed to Bondi’s defense amid mounting criticism from the likes of Carlson, Megyn Kelly and Steve Bannon, asking: ‘What’s going on with my “boys” and, in some cases, “gals?”

‘They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening.

‘We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and ‘selfish people’ are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein.’

Even after his defense of her, major MAGA backers are demanding Bondi lose her job over the saga.
