Johnny Depp turned a photo opportunity into a playful performance at the DRINK Las Vegas food and beverage festival, using the leafy backdrop as part of his pose.
Video obtained by the Daily Mail shows the 63-year-old actor raising a glass at Park MGM as he enjoyed the weekend-long celebration spread across several Las Vegas hotels.
As photographers gathered, Depp stood before an artificial hedge, pulled off one of its leaves with his teeth and held it between his lips for the cameras.
He soon spat the leaf out before turning back to the display and biting through a leafy stem, adding an even more theatrical touch to the impromptu photo session.
With a mischievous grin and greenery hanging from his mouth, the Pirates of the Caribbean star lifted his drink toward the photographers in a celebratory toast.
Depp wore a signature boho-chic look for the event, pairing a shimmering black vest with orange-tinted sunglasses and a cowboy hat featuring a sloping brim.
The Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Depp for comment.

In 1994, he paid nearly $10,000 in damages to New York’s Mark Hotel after police discovered him in what they described as a “state of possible intoxication” in his damaged room. His then-girlfriend, Kate Moss, was also staying at the hotel.
During a 2017 legal dispute with his former managers, Depp acknowledged that he spent $30,000 a month on wine. His opponents referenced the figure in court documents, writing that wine “is not an investment if you drink it as soon as you buy it.”
The Ed Wood star also spent years on the margins of Hollywood amid intensely public legal battles with his former wife, Amber Heard, who is 23 years his junior.

The pair pursued a bitter series of lawsuits against each other, trading allegations of abuse after their 15-month marriage ended in 2016.
Heard was ordered to pay Depp $1 million after losing the defamation case he brought against her following her allegations of physical abuse.
The sensational 2022 trial dominated headlines, including Depp’s claim that Heard had left feces in his bed as an alleged prank on her 30th birthday.

His alcohol intake became a meme when one of Heard’s attorneys described a supposed instance of Depp pouring himself a ‘mega pint of red wine.’
Heard’s attorneys also argued that Depp’s memory of the events of their relationship was unreliable because he was often under the influence.
Following the conclusion of the trial, Heard sold her home in Yucca Valley, California, for a reported $1.1 million and moved to Madrid with her daughter Oonagh, five.
Meanwhile, the year after his court victory, Depp was met with a rapturous reception at Cannes, where he premiered his French romantic drama Jeanne du Barry.
At the start of 2025, rocker Alice Cooper remarked that Depp went without alcohol while they toured together in their band the Hollywood Vampires.
Cooper, who quit drinking in 1983 after being diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver, explained that all of his bandmates were on the wagon with him.
‘Johnny Depp is my guitar player in the Hollywood Vampires. We’re all sober and he’s sitting there and he has an alcohol-free Heineken. And he’s vaping,’ said Cooper.
‘So he’s got phony cigarettes and phony alcohol, and I told him he was gonna have a phony heart attack,’ Cooper joked to People.
However, a few months later, Depp drank Aperol, wine and rum with his interviewer during a wide-ranging profile in June 2025 in the Times of London.
