Jonathan Majors is facing a major uphill battle.

The actor, who is set to direct and star in the upcoming sequel to the “Creed” series, opened up about the incident and expressed remorse for his actions.

During his chat with the outlet, Majors – who was set to star in Marvel’s next big bad superhero franchise – revealed how he learned the colossal studio fired him.

According to the “Magazine Dreams” star, he learned of his Marvel firing from a member of his team immediately after a Manhattan jury found him guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment as a violation in December 2023.

In his interview with THR published on Friday, Majors said, “He goes, ‘I’m just gonna tell you now, that way you’re not surprised, and you can start processing it. They fired you. Marvel fired you.’”

However, despite being dropped by Marvel and from a slew of other film and television roles in the wake of his legal woes, the “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” star has not given up hope on redemption and an eventual return to the big screen.

“Do I hope to make more movies? Absolutely. That is my intention,” Majors, 35, said. “But that’s not my call. I don’t have a studio. And I’ve given up control.”

THR’s cover story about Majors also featured several prominent Hollywood stars advocating for the embattled actor’s return.

Matthew McConaughey, who starred alongside Majors in the 2018 crime drama “White Boy Rick,” said, “I’ve known and know him as someone who is continuously striving to improve as a human, a man and an actor. I believe in him.”

Michael B. Jordan, who directed “Creed III” and starred in the boxing flick alongside Majors, also said that he would work with the actor again despite his conviction and sentencing.

“I would love to make Creed IV together,” Jordan said, “among other projects.”

Whoopi Goldberg also expressed support for the “Lovecraft Country” star.

“You don’t get to say sorry these days,” Goldberg said. “He was arrested. He went to court. He did what he was supposed to do. I’m not sure what else there is.”

Majors’ fiancée, Meagan Good, opened up about why she stood by the actor’s side and supported him throughout his criminal trial.

“People tend to move out of the way out of concern for their careers or their reputations. To me, that’s not real love,” Good, 43, said. “If you know someone and if you believe in someone, it’s not conditional.”

Majors was arrested and charged after a March 2023 altercation with his then-girlfriend, Jabbari, in New York City.

He was convicted of misdemeanor assault and harassment as a violation in Dec. 2023. Majors was later sentenced to one year of domestic violence counseling.

“There were days when it was like, is this real?” Majors said regarding the aftermath of his trial and conviction.

“It’s a heartbreak like I’ve never experienced and it just compounded and compounded.”
