During a daily press briefing, Cara Castronuova, a White House reporter known for her work with celebrities, caused laughter among her colleagues when she mentioned Donald Trump’s physique while questioning press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
Castronuova brought up the topic of the president’s annual physical, prompting Leavitt to chuckle along with the rest of the room.
Leavitt clarified that the president’s check-up would only involve ‘a few’ tests, debunking any speculation about anesthesia or serious procedures.
She promised to provide a readout of those tests ‘as soon as we can – before being met with a follow-up asking whether the White House will release all the results.
After answering yes, the 27-year-old called on Castronuova. who immediately asked whether the White House would consider releasing the president’s fitness plan.Â
‘He actually looks healthier than ever before,’Â Castronuova, a former fitness trainer who won two Golden Gloves as an amateur boxer, which saw a grin rapidly form on Leavitt’s face.Â
‘[He looks] healthier than he did eight years ago. And I’m sure everybody in this room could agree,’ the athlete-turned-journalist insisted.Â
‘Is he working out with Bobby Kennedy?’Â
As the room erupted in laughter, the correspondent she continued: ‘And is he eating less McDonald’s?’

“I can confirm that the president is in very good shape, as you see on a near-daily basis here,’ she said, ignoring the inquiry about health nut RFK.
The briefing ended on an even lighter note. Â
‘In that vain, thank God it’s Friday,’ she smiled, calling the briefing to a close.
‘It’s been a very long and busy week here at the White House… we will see you all on Monday.’
Castronuova, years after appearing as a trainer on The Biggest Loser, was named LindellTV’s Chief White House Correspondent last January.
The conservative broadcast platform was founded by MyPillow maker Mike Lindell back in April 2021, and can be found on lindelltv.com.
Other on-air talents there include former New York Governor – and Trump lawyer – Rudy Giuliani, as well as former Fox Business star Lou Dobbs.
Each have their own shows with the network, which secured a spot in the coveted White House press briefing room in February.
At the time,  Lindell – a well-known and vocal Trump ally – praised the move as ‘game-changing.’
Its parent company, Mike Lindell Media Corp., bills its broadcasts as ‘a superior First-Amendment-friendly alternative to highly censored Big Tech options.’Â Â Â Â
Meanwhile, CEO Lindell is facing defamation lawsuits from two electronic voting firms for conspiracy-fueled comments he aired about their machines during the 2020 election, claiming they were rigged against a then-voted-out Trump.
Castronuova made her debut on the White House floor on February 13 by posing another positive question to Health Secretary RFK.
The inquiry, however, had little to do with their common knowledge on matters such as fitness and health.
Instead, it honed in on Democrats’ pushback against the appointment – after which she was sure to offer her ‘congratulations.’
In 2004, she starred as one of the head celebrity trainers on Season 11 of NBC’s The Biggest Loser, and she occasionally announces boxing matches.
As for the president, his annual physical at Walter Reed Hospital.Â
Results following his visit have yet to be released. Â
