During her appearance on Thursday night’s (Feb. 5) episode of Watch What Happens Live, Kaley Cuoco revealed some disheartening news regarding her former Big Bang Theory co-stars.

While promoting her latest project, Vanished, Cuoco admitted that she and her past Big Bang Theory colleagues don’t maintain a group text chat.

When host Andy Cohen inquired if they kept in touch via a group text, Cuoco simply replied, “No.” As an uncomfortable silence filled the Bravo Clubhouse, she elaborated that she does keep in regular contact with Johnny Galecki, known for his role as Leonard, her character’s love interest. “All the time,” she said about their communication frequency.

Fans of the show might recall that Cuoco and Galecki had a private two-year relationship while working on the popular series, which ran from 2007 to 2019.

Reflecting on their time together, Cuoco shared in the 2022 book, The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story of the Epic Hit Series, “All the scenes up until we actually got together in real life, it was obvious there was always something there. There was chemistry, and we were crushing on each other. That was the whole first season until we actually got together for real.”

While they ultimately ended their romance due to Galecki’s “strict policies of privacy” and desire to be “protective of the audience’s acceptance of Penny and Leonard,” the two remained close friends, with Cuoco sharing that her ex-boyfriend sat front row at both of her weddings.

Cuoco was married to former pro tennis player Ryan Sweeting from 2013 to 2016 and equestrian Karl Cook from 2018 to 2022. The actress is currently engaged to actor Tom Pelphrey, with whom she shares a daughter. Galecki, for his part, has a six-year-old son with his ex-girlfriend, Alaina Meyer, and is now married to Morgan Galecki, who gave birth to their daughter in 2024.

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
