Kanye West addressed the resurfaced sex tape that made headlines after Hollywood fixer Kevin “KB” Blatt stated he prevented the video from being leaked.
“THAT WAS A FUN NIGHT CANT WAIT TO SEE IT AGAIN,” Ye quipped on X Friday night.
In response to screenshots shared on Blatt’s Instagram story suggesting his involvement in stopping the release of West’s sex tape over ten years ago, the controversial rapper spoke out.
The allegations made by Blatt, a Jewish former marketing and PR specialist in the online adult entertainment industry, surfaced following West’s offensive and antisemitic remarks to X.
“Hey @ye Remember that sex tape I helped take off the market for you in 2012 … in Vegas?” Blatt, 55, captioned the post, which featured a shirtless West.
“Yeah this JEW didn’t forget about what a horrible performance and small 🍆 u had … “
West’s post is the latest in a series of bizarre social media comments which have since all been deleted. Blatt later told Page Six that he hoped to teach West “a lesson” with his Instagram attack.
The resurfaced sex tape that allegedly features West and an unknown woman came from a laptop the music producer had gifted to a family member, his cousin Lawrence Franklin claimed to the Daily Mail in December 2016.
The tape was discovered in late 2012 around the time West began dating his first wife Kim Kardashian.
West was adamant the video would not be released and allegedly dished out a large sum, over $250,000 to keep it sealed, Franklin said.
The money was allegedly used to exchange and ensure no copies were made of the video.
“I had a cousin that stole my laptop that I was f–kin’ bitches on / Paid that n—a 250,000 just to get it from him / Real friends / Huh?” West raps in his 2016 song “Real Friends” an alleged reference to the infamous tape.
Blatt’s Instagram story came the same day West and his second wife Bianca Censori split.
The breakup followed the couple’s red-carpet appearance at the Grammy’s where Censori donned a completely see-through dress.
Censori was “exhausted” from West’s hateful rants and his decision to sell swastika merchandise on his website was the breaking point, an insider told Page Six.
“She’s been an awesome wife and awesome collaborator, she’s been through so many crazy moments, but this one may be unsurvivable.”
