Kate Middleton cheered on England during the final game of the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup.

On Saturday, the Princess of Wales, 43, posted a picture on Instagram featuring herself in a red hat alongside three Rugby team members before their game at Allianz Stadium in London.

Just a few hours later, England, nicknamed the Red Roses, ended up winning against Canada.

“Good luck England! 🌹🤠 Wishing the very best of luck to the @redrosesrugby in their Women’s Rugby World Cup Final at Twickenham today. We’re so proud of you! C,” wrote Middleton.

The princess serves as patron of the Rugby Football Union, which governs the game in England. She succeed Prince Harry in 2022. T

On September 6, Middleton supported the Red Roses in their match against Australia in Brighton.

After the team won 47-7, the philanthropist congratulated the ladies in the locker room.

“What an amazing game, well done everybody. It was a big nerve wracking, I’m not going to lie, to start off,” Middleton said in a video shared to X.

“But no, incredible,” she added. “I would have loved to have been here during the halftime chat, regardless of what it was about. You did brilliantly, so fantastic. It’s amazing to see the crowds you’ve attracted. You must feel the energy from everyone, and I hope you’ve felt the support.”

Middleton’s royal engagements have been in full swing in recent months.

Her public facing duties come on the heels of her September 2024 announcement that she was cancer-free.

“As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” the princess penned at the time. “The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”

In January 2025, Middleton called being in remission “a relief.”

“As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal,” she detailed. “I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.”

On Friday, Prince William reflected on the past year of his life, with also included his dad King Charles’ cancer diagnosis.

The Prince of Wales, 43, sat down with Eugene Levy for his Apple TV+ series, “The Reluctant Traveler.”

A clip from the episode, titled “Living the Royal Life in the UK,” showed the pair sitting down for a pint at a local pub.

“I’d say ‘23-’24 was the hardest year I’ve ever had,” the heir to the throne confessed. “You know, life is sent to test us and being able to overcome that is what makes us who we are.”

This wasn’t the first time William, who shares kids Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, with Kate, opened up about his wife’s struggles.

In Nov. 2024, while in South Africa, the Prince spoke to reporters following his annual Earthshot Prize Ceremony and revealed: “It’s been dreadful. It’s probably been the hardest year in my life.”

“So, trying to get through everything else and keep everything on track has been really difficult,” William added.

Middleton first revealed she was being treated for cancer in March 2024.

While undergoing chemotherapy, the royal kept a low profile.

King Charles, 76, meanwhile, was diagnosed with cancer in Feb. 2024 and has continued to undergo treatment.

In April, the king thanked “all those who support cancer patients and their loved ones” in a personal message.

King Charles posted on the royal family’s website that being “among” the “statistics” of those diagnosed with cancer has “reinforced” his view that “the darkest moments of illness can be illuminated by the greatest compassion.”

Since then, the King has been out and about alongside his wife of 20 years, Queen Camilla.
