Katy Perry showed off her incredible figure in a black bikini during a respite on a yacht in Capri, Italy over the weekend.

The 40-year-old pop star — who just broke her silence on her split from Orlando Bloom — was spotted engaging with a male companion.

Laughing with Canadian talent agent Michael Kives, she appeared carefree and relaxed, sharing a tight hug with him later. Also present on the scene was tech businessman Ben Schwerin and her former partner Orlando.

Katy’s perky bust was on display in a revealing triangle top, and she bared her washboard abs in the swimsuit’s matching bottoms.

She and Bloom confirmed their breakup last week, after swirling speculation about their relationship status.

The pair began dating in 2016 and got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019, before welcoming their four-year-old daughter Daisy Dove in August 2020.

She seemed lighthearted and relaxed as she laughed with Kives, who enveloped her in a tight hug

Representatives informed DailyMail.com that ‘Orlando and Katy have been transitioning their relationship over the past few months to place emphasis on co-parenting. They will continue to appear together as a family because their main focus is – and will always be – raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.’

The split was all but cemented when Orlando, 48, attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s star-studded wedding alone in Venice last weekend.

He shared a cryptic Instagram post about ‘loneliness’ and ‘darkness’ days ago.

During a break from her Lifetimes tour this weekend, Katy was seen enjoying herself, having previously been emotional and in tears during her final Australian performance.

A source told Us Weekly in late June: ‘Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,’ while adding that the separation has not been ‘contentious.’

‘Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life,’ it was noted.

The Teenage Dream hitmaker was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 until their divorce in 2012.

The Us Weekly source added that Katy and Orlando’s breakup had been ‘a long time coming’ and that their relationship had been ‘tense for months.’

In the wake of the separation, the actor busied himself with socializing at Jeff and Lauren’s star-studded nuptials.

Katy, who had been a guest at Lauren’s bachelorette party in Paris and was also one of the bride’s fellow passengers on the Blue Origin space flight launched by Jeff, was not in attendance.

When it emerged that Orlando was going to the wedding by himself, Katy’s absence was explained as a scheduling conflict with her Lifetimes tour in Australia.

At the wedding, Orlando mingled with a number of celebrity guests, including Kim Kardashian and Sydney Sweeney.

After news spread of her split from Orlando, Katy fought back tears while addressing an audience in Adelaide, holding her hands in the shape of a heart and saying: ‘Thank you, Australia, for always being there for me.’

For his part, Orlando shared nebulous social media posts about ‘loneliness’ and ‘darkness,’ intensifying the speculation about his relationship status.

One of his uploads was a Carl Jung quote that read: ‘Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself.’

He also posted a Jung quote reading: ‘Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.’
