Travis Kelce’s former girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, has taken down her social media profiles following the reappearance of controversial posts that are believed to have been shared by her.
On Thursday, Nicole, who had an on-and-off relationship with Kelce spanning five years, deactivated her account on the platform X. This decision came just hours after a thread of alleged screenshots began circulating.
These purported posts, originating from 2010, reportedly contained ‘racist’ and ‘homophobic’ language, targeting marginalized communities.
The alleged screenshots included a variety of slurs, particularly targeting the LGBTQ community. Additionally, derogatory references to the Asian and Mexican communities were noted in these posts attributed to Kelce’s ex.
Speculation suggests that these posts were unearthed by platform users following a series of indirect exchanges between Nicole and Taylor Swift, Kelce’s fiancée.
Last week, Nicole dressed up as Toni Braxton for Halloween this year and recreated the R&B icon’s music video for her 2000 hit, He Wasn’t Man Enough For Me.

In the classic song, Braxton croons, ‘Did you know about us back then? Do you know I dumped your husband, girlfriend?’Â
She continues, ‘I’m not thinking ’bout him / But you married him / Do you know I made him leave? Do you know he begged to stay with me? / He wasn’t man enough for me.’
She would later explain the reasoning behind her costume and admitted that it had nothing to do with the global popstar and, instead, was a reference to an old friend.Â
Nicole said: ‘I had a white best friend. Her name was Taylor. And she [had] the only house I could go over to as a kid because my mom didn’t play them type of games.Â
‘I specifically remember driving home from private school in my uniform in the back of a paddy wagon with Taylor, and her mom was playing this song,’ she added.Â
Despite her explanation, fans in the comments were convinced that Kayla was throwing shade at Travis and Taylor.Â
The ordeal came shortly after speculation that Swift, 35, dissed Nicole on her new track Opalite — a song she’s admitted is about Kelce, 36, whom Nicole dated on and off for five years until 2022.
Lyrics like, ‘You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone / You were in it for real, she was in her phone / And you were just a pose,’ were quickly pegged as a dig at Nicole, who Kelce once publicly scolded for constantly being on her phone.
In one resurfaced clip, Kelce is heard telling Nicole at dinner, ‘Oh my God. Get off your phone… You’re not even drinking your wine anymore, can we go?’

Fans were convinced that Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Nicole threw shade at the NFL star and his fiancée Taylor Swift with her Halloween costume
Taylor, meanwhile, announced her engagement to NFL star Kelce in August.
In the past year, Nicole has repeatedly been questioned about her dating life with ex Kelce.
She said that she’s done romancing athletes and would rather have a relationship with an executive of a record label or a movie producer.
When trolls lashed out at her for talking about Kelce after their split she countered, ‘Life handed me lemons and I made a lemon martini out of it and that upsets people.’
