Keith Urban’s guitarist Maggie Baugh has sung about trying to ‘fight’ feelings as romance rumors continue to swirl.
The 26-year-old musician has found herself amid a media frenzy following the news of Keith Urban’s and estranged wife Nicole Kidman’s publicized divorce. Her onstage chemistry with Urban has certainly raised some eyebrows.
On Thursday, Baugh shared a sneak peek into her new song, The Devil Win, which included lyrics that referenced an internal struggle and self-doubt.
In a song she posted online, she expressed: ‘I’m lost on what to truly believe / Lost in healing my spirit / Can’t seem to shake this feeling but it’s a comforting escape.’
She added: ‘No matter how close I get to the burning edge / Tempting as it is, I won’t let the Devil win.’
The music teaser ignited a largely positive response online with fans desperate to hear more.
‘Love these lyrics!’ one replied. ‘Can’t wait to hear the whole song!’
Another said: ‘Keep doing Maggie and drown out the noise! We love you and support you.’

‘This sounds amazing, looking forward to hearing the full song,’ continued a third.
Hollywood actress Kidman, 58, filed for divorce from Urban, 57, on September 30.
In the wake of their split news, past clips have resurfaced of his onstage antics with guitarist Baugh, fueling romance rumors about them.
One clip captured him gesturing towards the musician while singing ‘I was born to love you’ in Las Vegas. In another instance, during a performance in Chicago, he altered his lyrics from ‘Baby I’ll be the fighter’ to ‘Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player.’
Urban and Baugh first met last year when he invited her to perform with him during the CMT Music Awards.
He then asked her to join him as a utility guitarist.

‘Working with Urban was like going to rock star school. He is a musical encyclopedia,’ she told the outlet.
Baugh was notably not a part of Urban’s Pennsylvania concert last week.
TMZ claimed she is not a full-time member of the band as she was just stepping in for guitarist Natalie Stovall.
The rising country music star moved from Florida to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a career in music when she was just 18, but she had been putting out music long before then.
‘I put out my very first record when I was 13 years old,’ she told The Hamilton County Reporter last month.
‘I’m actually from south Florida and it’s a festival season all year round in south Florida, so I toured a lot there.
