Kelly Clarkson is set to make her long-awaited return to the Las Vegas stage this Friday, marking her first performance since the passing of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.
Clarkson has revealed that her “Studio Sessions” residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace will be extended into August 2026. This announcement comes after she postponed several shows earlier this year.
The newly rescheduled performances are slated for August 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, adding to previously announced shows for the same year. Tickets for these additional dates will be available to the public starting Friday. A special presale for Citi cardholders began on Tuesday, followed by a fan club presale on Wednesday. Members of Caesars Rewards, along with Live Nation and Ticketmaster customers, can access presales beginning Thursday.
Fans can purchase general sale tickets through Clarkson’s official website.
This announcement coincides with Clarkson’s preparations for her upcoming performance in Las Vegas, which marks a significant return to the stage. Additionally, she has scheduled performances for November 8, 14, and 15.
Clarkson announced in August that she was postponing her Las Vegas residency to be “fully present” for her children, citing Blackstock’s health. Blackstock died Aug. 7 at age 48 of cancer.
“While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them,” Clarkson wrote at the time. “I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows and I so appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding.”
The couple share a daughter, River, born in 2014, and a son, Remington, born in 2016. Clarkson and Blackstock married in 2013 after meeting at Super Bowl XLVI in 2012. Clarkson filed for divorce in June 2020, and they settled in 2022.
The residency had already faced delays before Blackstock’s death. Hours before the show’s July 4 commencement, Clarkson announced she had postponed the first two concerts as a preventative measure to protect her voice. The residency eventually commenced on July 11.
Clarkson resumed hosting her daytime talk show in September for its seventh season.
