Kendall Jenner makes rare comment about Caitlyn's 'different views'

Kendall Jenner has revealed the challenges she faces in dealing with Caitlyn Jenner’s differing perspectives.

In a candid discussion during Thursday’s episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” the model shared insights into her relationship with her parent, whose conservative views often clash with her own.

“I have to compartmentalize my relationship with my dad in a way,” Kendall shared during a confessional segment. “I love her, and she is my dad. We have a good relationship, but sometimes I find myself getting frustrated with her views on certain matters.”

The founder of 818 Tequila, who is 29 years old, admitted that she and Caitlyn, now 76, hold “completely different views on things.”

Despite their differences, Kendall expressed her desire to keep Caitlyn involved in her life. “I always want to include her,” she said. “I understand she doesn’t have much outside her family, and I know she can feel lonely.”

Kendall’s confession came after Caitlyn made her first cameo on the reality show in years.

It all went down after Kris Jenner invited her ex-husband to their former family home to say their goodbyes before putting it on the market.

“About an hour ago I called Caitlyn and I said, ‘What are you doing?’ Of course she said, ‘I’m eating dinner and watching Fox News,’” Kris explained to the cameras. “I said, ‘Of course you are.’”

Kendall and Kylie Jenner were excited to reunite with Caitlyn, but admitted they were surprised to see her.

“I definitely wasn’t expecting my dad to be here, just knowing the relationship my mom has with my dad. Not that it is bad, it is just distant,” Kendall said in the confessional.

Kylie agreed, adding, “I don’t know if my parents will ever be best friends again, but this is definitely a great first step.”

While Kendall didn’t specifically say that their differences were based on political views, Caitlyn has been open about her avid support for President Trump.

In April 2024, Caitlyn urged her followers to vote for Trump prior to his re-election into office.

“We must restore world peace by re-electing @TeamTrump,” she wrote on X at the time.

That same year, Caitlyn attended a fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago hosted by the president’s wife, first lady Melania Trump.

Caitlyn has previously described Trump as “a long time friend” and a “class act, strong beyond belief, loyal and extraordinarily selfless.”

Kendall, for her part, has remained relatively quiet about her political views in recent years — though she did endorse Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton when she was running for office against Trump in 2016.

“History by @hillaryclinton. #MadeForHistory #ImWithHer,” she captioned a since-deleted Instagram post at the time.

Kendall’s family members have also kept mum about their political views — though Kim Kardashian famously met with Trump to discuss prison reform in 2018.
