Khloé Kardashian responds to Savannah Guthrie's regret over 2012 paternity question

Apologies from Savannah Guthrie have caught Khloé Kardashian’s attention.

The reality TV star responded warmly after the “Today” show anchor expressed regret for a probing question she posed about Kardashian’s paternity back in 2012.

On Tuesday, the 41-year-old former “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star shared her thoughts on an Instagram post that featured Guthrie’s apology.

“She’s a doll!” Kardashian enthused, praising Guthrie. “It takes a big person to take accountability, and I just love her! ❤️❤️❤️ 👑👑👑👑”

As of now, Guthrie’s representative has not replied to Page Six’s request for a comment.

The journalist opened up about interviewing the “Kardashians” star on Monday’s episode of the NBC morning show.

“I asked Khloé Kardashian, like, 10 seconds before we were going to break about the rumors that her father, [Robert Kardashian], wasn’t her father,” the former attorney recalled.

Guthrie admitted to waiting until the last minute to bring up speculation about O.J. Simpson being Khloé’s dad because of how “embarrassed” she felt.

She praised the Good American co-creator for her “class act” response.

Khloé, at the time, clarified there was “nothing to” the headlines.

In February, Guthrie noted on “Radio Andy” that “producers … really wanted her to ask” the question so she “did what any naive, green anchor would do.”

Khloé clapped back at online chatter five years after the awkward moment by tweeting that trolls spreading rumors were “f–ked” and “such a–holes.”

Simpson, for his part, addressed the speculation in a 2022 “Full Send” podcast episode.

“The rumor ain’t true,” the ex-NFL player told listeners at the time. “It’s not even anywhere close to being true.”

Simpson was infamously acquitted of wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman’s murders in 1995, with Robert representing him in court.

Robert was married to Kris Jenner at the time. She gave birth to Khloé, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Rob Kardashian before the lawyer’s passing in 2003.

The talent manager, 69, went on to marry Caitlyn Jenner, welcoming Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner during their time together.

O.J., who served time from 2008 to 2017 for armed robbery, lost his battle to prostate cancer last year.

Khloé did not publicly react to his April 2024 death.
