Khloe Kardashian is ROASTED for liking post about Charlie Kirk

On Thursday night, Khloé Kardashian faced backlash from fans after she liked a post that praised Charlie Kirk, a right-wing figure, following his shooting and subsequent death the previous day.

The 41-year-old television personality also commented with praying-hand emojis and shared a post that appeared neutral regarding Kirk’s death at age 31. He was fatally shot in the neck by an attacker on a rooftop near Utah Valley University.

The assailant remains at large, prompting FBI Director Kash Patel to travel to Utah on Thursday. This move came amid critiques of the FBI’s slow progress in capturing the suspect and Patel’s choice to dismiss a renowned special agent in Utah just a month before, who would have spearheaded the hunt for the shooter.

Many of Kardashian’s fans were vocally opposed to Kirk due to his anti-abortion, anti-immigrant, anti-transgender and pro-Second Amendment views.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Kardashian’s representative for comment but hasn’t yet received a response.

Fans appear to have spotted that her ‘like’ on a post from the Instagram account for Pray.com, which included a video of Kirk conversing with a fan at a speaking event in which he described his Christian faith.

Multiple followers preserved screenshots of the ‘like’ and her comment with three praying-hand emojis under the video, which didn’t discuss Kirk’s widely circulated political and social views.

They also shared screenshots of a post written by a South Carolina–based chiropractor — who has multiple posts espousing anti-vaccine views — that she shared in her Instagram Stories.

The seemingly non-partisan post bemoaned the country’s current state numbness toward acts of violence, which it declared had ‘nothing to do with left or right or red or blue.’

‘This is the worst thing she’s ever done in my eyes fr. Yuck!!’ wrote one disappointed commenter on Reddit.

Another user vehemently disagreed with the post Kardashian retweeted, writing, ‘This has EVERYTHING to do with politics.

One user claimed that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star likely wouldn’t address the controversy over her ‘like’ and comment, but if she did, it would be ‘some flimsy “politics aside, he was a husband and a father” explanation.’

‘She sits up in her tower built up on the privilege of not needing to care about politics, they continued in a fury. ‘I will not waste an ounce of empathy on a man who didn’t bat an eye when innocent children were shot in their classrooms.’

They appeared to be referencing a 2023 speech in which Kirk said that some gun deaths were ‘worth it’ in order to preserve the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution.

‘You will never live in a society when you have an armed citizenry and you won’t have a single gun death. That is nonsense. It’s drivel,’ Kirk said at the Salt Lake City campus of Awaken Church on April 5, 2023. ‘But I am — I think it’s worth it. I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights.

‘That is a prudent deal. It is rational. Nobody talks like this. They live in a complete alternate universe,’ he said.

Others said they weren’t surprised about her response to a faith-centered post due to the reality star’s history of posting bible verses.

One poster responded, ‘They say “politics aside” and [the] whole time the “politics” are that [Kirk] thinks the civil rights act was a mistake and gun deaths are worth it and necessary.’

’empathizing with a white supremacist when you have Black children is a different kind of evil,’ added one user.
