Kim Kardashian recently revealed that a routine MRI uncovered an aneurysm, which she attributed to the stress of her tumultuous divorce from Kanye West.

During the debut episode of The Kardashians’ seventh season, the 45-year-old founder of SKIMS confided in her sister Kourtney, 46, about the medical discovery, noting that the doctors identified a minor aneurysm during her brain scan.

An aneurysm occurs when there is a balloon-like bulge in the wall of a blood vessel. If it bursts, it can lead to internal bleeding, posing a significant health risk.

In cases where the aneurysm is small and intact, the typical approach is to keep it under observation with regular medical check-ups.

Kourtney, visibly taken aback by the news, instinctively placed her hand on her chest and exclaimed, “Whoa.”

Kim was filmed in a medical center for the show’s premiere. She was rolled into an MRI machine as the scans above displayed images of her brain. 

The mother-of-four says doctors claimed the condition was caused by ‘stress.’

After getting her MRI, a weeping Kim was shown speaking on the phone and asking, ‘Why the f**k is this happening?’ 

Another clip showed her getting out of the MRI machine as she spoke about her stressful divorce from ex West, 48, with whom she shares her four kids.

The episode aired as Kim turned heads in London while celebrating her 45th birthday with an extremely A-list party crowd.

Approximately 6.8 million people in the United States have an unruptured brain aneurysm, or 1 in 50 people, according to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. 

Around 30,000 people suffer a brain aneurysm rupture each year, and there are almost 500,000 deaths worldwide each year caused by brain aneurysms, with half the victims younger than 50. 

Women are also more likely than men to have a brain aneurysm. 

Most aneurysms are small, generally ranging from about one-eighth of an inch to nearly one inch in diameter. 

The majority of aneurysms don’t rupture, and for many individuals an unruptured aneurysm remains completely symptom-free, according to the Mayo Clinic. 

High blood pressure is the most common cause of a rupture. 

A ruptured brain aneurysm requires an emergency treatment like surgical clipping or endovascular coiling to seal the burst vessel. 

Kim has been candid about her previously health battles. She has long suffered with the autoimmune conditions psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

In 2022, she revealed that her 16 pound weight loss in order to fit Marilyn Monroe’s iconic gown at the Met Gala that year caused her body to have a psoriasis flare up that led to psoriatic arthritis.

And in 2015, she spoke about suffering from placenta accreta, a serious pregnancy condition in which the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall. This can cause severe blood loss after delivery.

She had the condition while delivering daughter North and her second child Saint.

The reality TV star confided in her sister Kourtney Kardashian, 46, that doctors found a ‘little’ aneurysm on her brain scan during an intro clip in episode one, titled ‘Feels Like the Old Days’

After getting her MRI, a weeping Kim was then shown speaking to someone on the phone in another scene, as she asked, ‘Why the f**k is this happening?’

Kim was then seen getting an MRI, with scans showing images of her brain. The mother-of-four then seemingly told her sister that doctors told her it was caused by ‘stress’

 On Wednesday night in London, the influencer and businesswoman attended a private party held by her close artist and photographer friend Mert Alas and despite the rain she wore two incredibly revealing outfits – one when she arrived, and another when she left.

The first showed off her hourglass curves as she slipped into a sheer, cleavage-enhancing corset and thigh-skimming silk skirt. For the second she donned a fitted minidress made of more sheer material as well as a revealing bralette piece at the top.

Fashion designer John Galliano joined her at the party, as did socialite Emma Weymouth, models Stella Maxwell and Kate Moss, singer FKA Twigs, actresses Isla Fisher, Sarah Paulson and Naomi Watts, and her mum Kris Jenner.  

Elsewhere on the premiere episode, Kim discussed the stress of her split from Kanye later in the episode, revealing she felt like she had ‘Stockholm Syndrome.’ 

Stockholm Syndrome is a psychological phenomenon where a person who has been held captive or abused develops a bond to their captor. 

In another clip, a tearful Kim seemingly said about her divorce, ‘I’m happy it’s over.’ 

Kim and Kanye were married from 2014 until 2022, and share daughters North, 12, Chicago, seven, and sons Saint, nine, and Psalm six.

In a confessional, Kim told the cameras: ‘People think that I have the luxury of walking away. My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together.’

Elsewhere on episode one, Kim says that she hasn’t hade a psoriasis flare up since she’s gotten a divorce from Kanye, but now she’s filming Ryan Murphy’s show, All’s Fair, she’s been battling with outbreaks on her skin yet again. 

The aforementioned psoriasis is an autoimmune disease that primarily affects the skin. It causes a buildup of skin cells, leading to scaly, and sometimes itchy or painful patches. 

She also told sister Khloe Kardashian, 41, and mom Kris Jenner, 69, on the phone: ‘this week has been the hardest week of my life’ though it’s unclear what she was referring to. 

Talking about the divorce, Kim says she was ‘very tested.’ 

When she’s asked what’s going through her mind when she sees Kanye’s behavior — which has included publicly lashing out at her family, accusing Kim of keeping their kids away from him, and going on anti-semitic Twitter rants — she says ‘my poor kids.’

Kim added that everyone around her can handle the outbursts, but she wants to protect ‘my babies.’

She says she’s been able to hide what’s going on from her kids for so long and that she always felt like she had a little bit of ‘Stockholm Syndrome.’ 

Kim also hit back at his accusations of her keeping the kids away. The SKIMS founder said Kanye has never called and asked, and says it’s ‘not true’ and ‘not rational.’

The reality star added, ‘It’s a divorce, not a kidnapping’ before stating that they still live at the same address and he knows where the kids are at. 

Kim also revealed that she gets worried when it gets too quiet, as she fears Kanye might start having more public outbursts at any moment.

When asked if Kanye has ever apologized to her she says ‘no’ and that she’s ‘not looking for it’ adding, ‘I don’t care.’

She said the situation is ‘so f*****g sad’ but she has to stay strong for the kids.

She later confirms that all her feelings for her ex are gone when her sister Kourtney shares that Kanye’s ex Julia Fox will be in a new campaign for her brand Lemme.

Kourtney shares that Fox, who briefly dated the rapper, will promote a ‘libido gummy.’

She calls Kim to check and make sure that her sister is fine with it, and Kim says she ‘doesn’t care.’

Kim also made a defiant stance against the robbers who held her at gunpoint and stole $10 million worth of jewelry from her back in 2016 in a clip from the new season.

The star was seen returning to Paris, where the robbery occurred, and reliving the terrifying ordeal as she prepared to testify against the criminals.

But even though Kim admitted she was ‘terrified out of my f*****g mind’, she wouldn’t let her fear hold her back from being herself, after her mom Kris Jenner, 69, questioned whether she should be wearing diamonds to her courtroom showdown.

As Kim was getting ready for court, Kris walked in and asked if was a good idea to appear in court with all the glittering jewels Kim was wearing.

‘Do you think we really should walk in there with all the diamonds on? Should we rethink this?’ she asked.

‘No,’ Kim defiantly stated. ‘I wanna be who I wanna be. I feel like they took that away from me.’

In the intro clip for the upcoming season, Kim shared, ‘I am terrified out of my f*****g mind’ before stating that she was told someone has put a ‘hit’ on her life.

The clip started with a dramatic car scene in Paris.

Kim was joined by mom Kris and her boyfriend Corey Gamble, 44, as they tried to flee mobs of photographers and fans. 

Elsewhere, Kris is shocked at the crowds gathered outside of court. ‘Look at that,’ she says looking at the mob of people outside. ‘Look at these people. This just doesn’t feel safe.’

Kim is later seen walking into court as a news clip states that the suspects in the violent crime are now on trial.

The ringleader and seven members of a gang that tied up and robbed the billionaire reality TV star were found guilty by a Paris court in May.

They were found guilty of crimes including robbery in an organized gang, kidnapping, sequestration, acquisition and possession of weapons, assisting an armed gang, aggravated theft, and complicity in preparation of a criminal act.

Among the jewels Kim lost was a $4million engagement ring from her ex-husband, rapper Kanye, that has never been recovered.
